Gina Botelho, President & Senior Facilitator

Gina Botelho has been educating and engaging audiences for over 20 years. With a background in psychology, communication, and adult education, she is a strong proponent of life-long learning which is applied, relevant, creative and engaging.

 

She believes that “superior performance” both personally and professionally requires a commitment to ongoing learning.

 

As an instructor at Mount Royal University & SAIT and as part of the faculty team at The Banff Centre for the Inspired Leaders Program, Gina gets the opportunity to hone her skills as both a participant and facilitator.

 

Her corporate experience includes over 14 years in the Telecommunication Industry as a Senior Facilitator, Corporate Sales & Business Development, Program Development & Training Specialist and Leader of Training, Learning and Coaching.

 

Gina has had the privilege of training several other facilitators and trainers in their roles and loves to coach leaders on how to make a difference in the lives of others.

 

Prior to that, she was a 9-1-1 Communications Operator and worked in the Transportation & Highways emergency response centre, taking emergency calls, dispatching and broadcasting road reports.

 

Her passion for people development and expertise in facilitation enables her to deliver engaging sessions for participants which increase awareness of self and others, maximizing communication, conflict resolution, and overall “soft skills”.

 

As a sought after trainer, she brings humor, wisdom, and occasionally some great salsa moves to her work. As a mom to an adventurous little girl, she is learning to hone her own conflict resolution and communication skills in a whole new way!

Jannette Anderson, Business Development & Facilitator

Jannette  is a business development expert with over 35 years of strategic planning and sales and marketing experience. She understands how to grow businesses and has helped her clients add up to 320% to their top line.

 

In addition she has been a senior facilitator and trainer for over 15 years. Jannette has enjoyed working with firms such as Smart Technologies, WestJet, Tenneris, and Suncor as an instructor for the Applied Management Program at SAIT. She is a guest lecturer at the University of Calgary and a featured keynote speaker on stages throughout North America.

 

Jannette loves facilitating personal development courses and knows that the inner game of business is as important as the practical strategies and tactics. She has facilitated for Personal Best Seminars for over a decade as well as teaching a coaching certification program for them. In addition she has offered her own training programs that have made a difference in hundreds of people’s lives. Whether facilitating powerful strategic planning retreats, coaching business owners and leaders on innovation and improved performance, or supporting entrepreneurs in taking their business to the next level, Jannette is passionate about ensuring everyone she works with achieves positive results!

Sharon is a lawyer and mediator and holds Bachelors of Commerce and Laws (Juris Doctor) degrees.

 

In private practice, Sharon was involved in several landmark legal cases and is a seasoned labour and employment lawyer with specific expertise in human rights matters.

 

She was initially appointed to the Alberta Human Rights Commission in 2011, and has been reappointed through to 2021. Her decisions in this capacity can be viewed online at www.canlii.org.

 

She has a sound working knowledge of the labour movement, having provided advice and counsel to unions, employees and employers. She has acted as Union Nominee in labour arbitrations and has appeared before numerous courts and administrative tribunals.

 

She has mediated countless disputes with a focus on uncovering the underlying concerns of the parties to create movement. Her capacity for clarifying the issues and facilitating collaboration has been called "Astounding" and her track record is extremely successful.

 

Sharon frequently speaks at conferences and has conducted numerous training seminars across the breadth of issues impacting workplaces including human rights, conducting investigations, and conflict resolution, to name a few.
